Eagles down Texans

The Houston Texans are on the verge of a three game losing streak as they face the surprising Cleveland Browns this weekend.  Last weekend, Mark Sanchez led the Philadelphia Eagles over the Texans 31-21.  Sanchez threw for 202 yards and two touchdowns.  The Texans Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 203 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

“It was a tough day, and obviously that falls on the quarterback in terms of not being able to get things started and accomplished,” Fitzpatrick said.

Texans lose Clowney in victory over Redskins

The Number One pick in the 2014 draft, Jadeveon Clowney, will be for the foreseeable future after undergoing arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus.

The Texans jumped out to a  14-6 halftime lead before closing the game out with a 17-6 victory at home.  This week figures to be a bit more difficult a task as they face the team their former starting quarterback now plays for.  Matt Schaub was traded to the Raiders earlier this year.

Texans fall short againt Chiefs

The Houston Texans put up a great game against the only undefeated team left in the NFL but it wasn’t as easy for the Chiefs as the rest of the NFL  thought it would be.

The Chiefs were guided by RB Jammal Charles and his 86 yards and touchdown on 21 carries. Quarterback Alex Smith also ran for a touchdown as he went 23-34 for 240 yards.

Injuries also played havoc on the Texans as LB Brian Cushing broke his left fibula and tore his LCL and will be out for the rest of the season.

The Texans will next face the team that knocked off the only other undefeated NFL team, the Patriots.  The Indianapolis Colts will come calling on the Texans this Sunday and great seats and tickets are still available!
