Eagles down Texans

The Houston Texans are on the verge of a three game losing streak as they face the surprising Cleveland Browns this weekend.  Last weekend, Mark Sanchez led the Philadelphia Eagles over the Texans 31-21.  Sanchez threw for 202 yards and two touchdowns.  The Texans Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 203 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

“It was a tough day, and obviously that falls on the quarterback in terms of not being able to get things started and accomplished,” Fitzpatrick said.

Tickets for this weeks game, which will be played at First Energy Stadium in Cleveland are still available.  Be sure to get yours now.

Texans fall short against Colts

Houston suddenly in a two game tail spin

Houston we have a problem.  The Texans began the season on a high note, knocking off the Redskins, Raiders and the Buffalo Bills with only one loss to the Giants in between.  Then they went into Dallas and lost a 17-20 heart breaker  and last night followed up with a crushing 33-28 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

The Texans fell behind very early and had to fight back from a 24-0 first quarter blitz.  The defense came alive and held the Colts to three points in the 2nd quarter while the Texans ripped off two touchdowns in under two minutes cutting the score 28-14  by halftime.

“You’re going up and down on the sideline screaming at everybody: ‘Don’t take your foot off the gas,'” Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano said. “Next thing you know, just like that (it’s close). It’s never over in this league.”

The Texans scored 14 more points in the second half to Indie’s six and had an opportunity to win the game but  Fitzpatrick had the ball stripped from him with under two minutes to play by Berjeron Werner.

“I was trying to make a play … just poor ball security,” Fitzpatrick said.

The Texans face the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) on October 20th and have until then to get their mindset right. Plenty of great seats and cheap tickets are still available so be sure to get yours today!
