Texans /Weeden dispose of Titans

There is no letting up for the Houston Texans who are now being led (and quite successfully) by former Cowboys QB Brandon Weeden.  Weeden, who could not win a quarter while serving his term with “da boys” has now led the Texans to two straight victories including running for a touchdown and throwing for two more in a 34-6 romping of the Tennessee Titans.

“We needed this one,” Weeden said. “As a team, we needed this one. It feels good personally, I’m more excited for this team.”

Now the Texans hold their fate in their hands as they face the Jacksonville Jaguars (5-10) this weekend and a victory is a must.

“We have to play to win,” Houston coach Bill O’Brien said of his approach against Jacksonville. “I think the bottom line is we need to win. I don’t think we can look at any scenario, this scenario, that scenario, I believe that we need to play to win.”
